Hadith 3730

حَدَّثَنَا مَحْمُودُ بْنُ غَيْلَانَ، حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو أَحْمَدَ الزُّبَيْرِيُّ، حَدَّثَنَا شَرِيكٌ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ عَقِيلٍ، عَنْ جَابِرِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ، أَنّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ لِعَلِيٍّ : " أَنْتَ مِنِّي بِمَنْزِلَةِ هَارُونَ مِنْ مُوسَى إِلَّا أَنَّهُ لَا نَبِيَّ بَعْدِي " . قَالَ أَبُو عِيسَى : هَذَا حَسَنٌ غَرِيبٌ هَذَا الْوَجْهِ ، وَفِي الْبَابِ عَنْ سَعْدٍ ، وَزَيْدِ بْنِ أَرْقَمَ ، وَأَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ ، وَأُمِّ سَلَمَةَ .
´Narrated Jabir bin 'Abdullah:` that the Prophet (ﷺ) said to 'Ali: "You are to me in the position that Harun was to Musa, except that there is no Prophet after me."
