حَدَّثَنَا وَاصِلُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الْأَعْلَى، حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ فُضَيْلٍ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ أَبِي نَصْرٍ، عَنِ الْمُسَاوِرِ الْحِمْيَرِيِّ، عَنْ أُمِّهِ، قَالَتْ : دَخَلْتُ عَلَى أُمِّ سَلَمَةَ فَسَمِعْتُهَا تَقُولُ : كَانَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَقُولُ : " لَا يُحِبُّ عَلِيًّا مُنَافِقٌ , وَلَا يَبْغَضُهُ مُؤْمِنٌ " . وَفِي الْبَابِ عَنْ عَلِيٍّ . قَالَ أَبُو عِيسَى : وَهَذَا حَسَنٌ غَرِيبٌ هَذَا الْوَجْهِ ، وَعَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ هُوَ أَبُو نَصْرٍ الْوَرَّاقُ ، وَرَوَى عَنْهُ سُفْيَانُ الثَّوْرِيُّ .
Masawar Himyari narrates from his mother, she says: I came to Umm Salamah (may Allah be pleased with her) and I heard her saying: The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) used to say: "No hypocrite befriends Ali, and no believer holds enmity towards him." © Imam Tirmidhi says:
1- This hadith is Hasan Gharib through this chain,
2- Abdullah bin Abdur Rahman refers to Abu Nasr Warraq, and Sufyan Thawri has narrated from him,
3- In this chapter, there is also a narration from Ali (may Allah be pleased with him).

حَدَّثَنَا حَدَّثَنَا قُتَيْبَةُ، حَدَّثَنَا جَعْفَرُ بْنُ سُلَيْمَانَ، عَنْ أَبِي هَارُونَ، عَنْ أَبِي سَعِيدٍ الْخُدْرِيِّ، قَالَ : " إِنَّا كُنَّا لَنَعْرِفُ الْمُنَافِقِينَ نَحْنُ مَعْشَرَ الْأَنْصَارِ بِبُغْضِهِمْ عَلِيَّ بْنَ أَبِي طَالِبٍ " . قَالَ أَبُو عِيسَى : هَذَا غَرِيبٌ ، إِنَّمَا نَعْرِفُهُ مِنْ حَدِيثِ أَبِي هَارُونَ ، وَقَدْ تَكَلَّمَ شُعْبَةُ فِي أَبِي هَارُونَ , وَقَدْ رُوِيَ هَذَا عَنِ الْأَعْمَشِ، عَنْ أَبِي صَالِحٍ، عَنْ أَبِي سَعِيدٍ .
´Narrated Abu Sa'eed Al-Khudri:` "We, the people of the Ansar, used to recognize the hypocrites, by their hatred for 'Ali bin Abi Talib."
