´Abu Ayyub Al-Ansari narrated that the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said:` “Whoever says ten times: ‘None has the right to be worshipped by Allah, Alone, without partner, to Him belongs all that exists, and to Him belongs the praise, [He gives life and causes death,] and He has power over all things, (Lā ilāha illallāh, waḥdahu lā sharīka lahu, lahul-mulku wa lahul-ḥamdu, [yuḥyī wa yumītu,] wa huwa `alā kulli shai’in qadīr)’ it is for him equal to freeing four slaves among the offspring of Isma`il.”

Explanation & Benefits
Shaykh Dr. Abdur Rahman Freywai
Explanation: 1: There is no deity except Allah, the One; He has no partner or associate. To Him belongs the dominion (sovereignty), and to Him belong all praises. He alone gives life and He alone causes death, and He is powerful over all things.
2: That is, he will be granted a reward equal to the merit of freeing four slaves of noble lineage.

'A'isha reported: If one amongst us had to break fasts of Ramadan (due to natural reasons, i. e. menses) during the life of the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) she could not find it possible to complete them so long she had been in the presence of Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) till Sha'ban commenced.
Shaykh Maulana Abdul Aziz Alvi
Hadith Commentary:Benefits and Issues: From the hadith of Aisha (radi Allahu anha), it is established that if a person misses any fasts of Ramadan due to some reason—illness, travel, compulsion, or an excuse such as menstruation (hayd) and postnatal bleeding (nifas), pregnancy, etc.—then it is not necessary to make up those fasts immediately after Ramadan. Before the arrival of the next Ramadan, whenever one wishes, those fasts can be made up. The noble wives (azwaj mutahharat, radi Allahu anhunna ajma'in), since they were always prepared to serve the Messenger of Allah (sallallahu alayhi wa sallam), would make up their missed fasts in the month of Sha'ban, because in this month the Prophet (sallallahu alayhi wa sallam) would fast abundantly. This is also the position of the four Imams (a’immah arba‘ah).
