Benefits and Issues:
➊ In previous communities, people's lifespans used to be very long. In comparison, the individuals of this Ummah have much shorter lives. Therefore, we should strive even more to perform righteous deeds within this brief opportunity.
➋ The noble statement of the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam is: Allah, the Exalted, has left no excuse for the person whose death has been delayed until he reaches sixty years of age. (Sahih al-Bukhari, Kitab al-Riqaq, Chapter: Whoever reaches sixty years, Allah has excused him regarding his lifespan..., Hadith: 6419)
➌ When a person approaches sixty years of age, he should pay greater attention to the Hereafter, as perhaps he may not live beyond sixty. And after sixty years, he should consider that he is being given a grace period. After this, heedlessness and sinfulness are extremely dangerous. After seventy years, every single day should be regarded as a new concession.
