´Ka’b bin Ujrah narrated that:` The Prophet said: “There are Mu’aqqibat, he who says them shall not be miserable. Glorify Allah at the end of every prayer thirty-three times, and praise him thirty-three times, and extol His greatness thirty-four times.”

´It was narrated that Ka'b bin 'Ujrah said:` "The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said: 'There are statements of remembrance following the prayer of which the one who says them will never be deprive of the reward: Glorifying Allah (SWT) thirty-three times following each prayer, and praising Him thirty-three times, and magnifying Him thirty-four times.'"

1350. Commentary: "Is not unsuccessful." That is, however one recites, reward will certainly be attained, even if there is some negligence. Or, he will definitely enter Paradise.

Ibn 'Abbas reported that he spent a night at the house of the Apostle of Allah (ﷺ) . The Apostle of Allah (ﷺ) got up for prayer in the latter part of the night. He went out and looked towards the sky and then recited this verse (190th) of AI-i-'Imran: "Verily in the creation of the heavens and the earth and the alternation of night and day." up to the (words) "save us from the torment of Hell." He then returned to his house, used the tooth-stick, performed the ablution, and then got up and offered the prayer. He than lay down on the bed. and again got up and went out and looked towards the sky and recited this verse (mentioned above), then returned, used the tooth-stick, performed ablution and again offered the prayer.

Hadith Commentary:Benefits and Issues: According to Imam Nawawi rahimahullah: Using the miswak is a recommended act at all times, but using the miswak at five specific times is even more virtuous. (1) At the time of prayer, whether one has performed ablution (wudu) or dry ablution (tayammum). (2) Along with ablution (wudu). (3) When reciting the Noble Qur’an. (4) After waking up at night. (5) When the odor of the mouth changes.
