Explanation:
1:
Because when a servant supplicates before the Lord of all worlds, he expresses his utmost helplessness, humility, and neediness in the face of Allah’s power and might. Therefore, in the sight of Allah, there is nothing more honorable and noble (in terms of worship) than supplication (du'a).

Benefits and Issues:
➊ The mentioned narration has been declared weak in its chain by our esteemed researcher, whereas other scholars have deemed it hasan (good) on the basis of supporting evidences and have discussed it in detail. From this, it becomes clear that the opinion of considering the hadith as hasan is closer to correctness. For further details, see: (al-Mawsu‘ah al-Hadithiyyah, Musnad al-Imam Ahmad: 14/360, 361)
➋ Through supplication (du‘a), honor and elevation are attained in the sight of Allah.
➌ A high status with Allah is also achieved through other deeds, but even with those, supplications (du‘a) are still needed.
➍ Supplication (du‘a) is made to Allah for the acceptance of deeds; for this reason as well, supplication holds importance.
