حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ بَشَّارٍ، حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنُ مَهْدِيٍّ، حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ، عَنِ الْمُخْتَارِ بْنِ فُلْفُلٍ، قَال : سَمِعْتُ أَنَسَ بْنَ مَالِكٍ، يَقُولُ : قَالَ رَجُلٌ لِلنَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : يَا خَيْرَ الْبَرِيَّةِ ، قَالَ : " ذَلِكَ إِبْرَاهِيمُ " . قَالَ أَبُو عِيسَى : هَذَا حَدِيثٌ حَسَنٌ صَحِيحٌ ، حَدَّثَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ حُجْرٍ، حَدَّثَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ مُسْهِرٍ، عَنِ الْمُخْتَارِ بْنِ فُلْفُلٍ، عَنْ أَنَسٍ، نَحْوَهُ .
´Anas bin Malik narrated that:` A man said to the Prophet: “O best of creatures!” So he said: “That is Ibrahim.”

Explanation:
1:
The Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam said this out of humility and as a mark of respect for Ibrahim alayhis salam.
Otherwise, according to his own statement, he sallallahu alayhi wa sallam is the "leader of the children of Adam," and this is our belief, which is established from the Qur'an and Hadith. The author has cited this hadith in the commentary of the statement of Allah, the Exalted: ﴿أُوْلَئِكَ هُمْ خَيْرُ الْبَرِيَّةِ﴾ ( , Al-Bayyina: 7).
