Hadith 328

حَدَّثَنَا الْحَسَنُ بْنُ عَلِيٍّ الْخَلَّالُ، حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ، أَخْبَرَنَا مَعْمَرٌ، عَنْ الزُّهْرِيِّ، عَنْ سَعِيدِ بْنِ الْمُسَيَّبِ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ، نَحْوَ حَدِيثِ أَبِي سَلَمَةَ ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ بِمَعْنَاهُ ، هَكَذَا قَالَ عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ : عِنْدَ سَعِيدِ بْنِ الْمُسَيَّبِ ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ، وَهَذَا أَصَحُّ مِنْ حَدِيثِ يَزِيدَ بْنِ زُرَيْعٍ .
´(Another chain with a similar narration) from Abu Hurairah :` [from the Prophet]. And this is more correct than the Hadith of Yazid bin Zurai. (no. 327)

English Translation:

That is, in his narration, ‘Abdur Razzaq saying “from Sa‘id ibn al-Musayyib from Abu Hurayrah” is more correct than Yazid ibn Zuray‘’s narration which says “from Abu Salamah from Abu Hurayrah,” because Sufyan has corroborated ‘Abdur Razzaq. In his narration as well, it is “from Sa‘id ibn al-Musayyib from Abu Hurayrah,” as is found in the next narration.
