Benefits and Issues:

➊ Quba Mosque is that mosque which was the very first to be constructed after the Hijrah. The Prophet Muhammad (sallallahu alayhi wa sallam) stayed in Quba for a few days before reaching Madinah and laid the foundation of the mosque there. The Prophet (sallallahu alayhi wa sallam) used to go there once a week to perform prayer. (Sahih al-Bukhari, The Virtue of Prayer in the Mosques of Mecca and Madinah, Chapter: Whoever Comes to Quba Mosque Every Saturday, Hadith: 1193)

➋ During one's stay in Madinah, one should visit Quba Mosque, so that the reward of performing an ‘umrah may be attained, and the reward of following the Prophet (sallallahu alayhi wa sallam) may also be obtained.
