´Narrated 'Amr bin Shu'aib:` from his father, from his grandfather, who said "There was a man named Marthad bin Abi Marthad, and he was a man who would carry captives from Makkah to Al-Madinah." He said: "And there was a prostitute woman in Makkah called 'Anaq, who was a friend of his. He had promised a man from the captives of Makkah that he would transport him, and he said: 'So I came until I reached one of the walls of Makkah on a moon-lit night.' He said "'Anaq came along and she saw the darkness of my shadow next to the wall. When she reached me she recognized me and said: "Marthad?" So I replied: "(Yes it is) Marthad." She said: "Welcome, come and spend the night with us." I said: "O 'Anaq! Allah has made illicit sexual relations unlawful." So she said: "O people of the tents! That is the man who takes your captives away!" He said: "Eight people followed me, and I went through the passes of Al-Khandamah. I stopped at a cave and entered it. They came until they stood over my head, and they began urinating, their urine falling on my head. Yet Allah made them unable to see me. He said: 'Then I went back. I returned to my companion to transport him - and he was a heavy man - until I reached Al-Idhkir. There I removed his shackles to make him easier to carry, since he was exhausting me, until I arrived at Al-Madinah. I went to the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) and I said "O Messenger of Allah! May I marry 'Anaq? [I said this, two times] but the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) was silent, and he did not reply to me at all until (the following) was revealed: The Zani marries not but a Zaniyah or a Mushrikah; and the Zaniyah, none marries her except a Zani or a Mushrik (24:3). So do not marry her.'"

Explanation:
1:
A fornicator (male) should marry only a fornicatress or an idolatress, and a fornicatress should be married only by a fornicator or an idolater.
Such a marriage is forbidden for Muslims.

(1) "Strong and brave": In their pre-Islamic days, they were thieves and bandits. The Messenger of Allah (sallallahu alayhi wa sallam), considering their habits, appointed them to bring in Muslim prisoners. Radi Allahu anhu wa ardaahu. They performed this service solely for the sake of Allah.
(2) "Hedgehog": In Urdu, it is called "siyah," which defends itself with the spines on its body. The comparison is in coming at night.
(3) "Let me marry": So that there is also veiling (purdah) and the prisoner is also freed. She will also not make noise.
(4) It is understood that a believing person cannot marry an idolatrous (mushrik) adulteress; however, if she becomes Muslim and repents from adultery, then marriage with her is permissible. If a Muslim immoral woman persists in adultery, then it is also not permissible for a righteous believer to marry her. In the case of repentance, there is no harm. She will be called a "zaniyah" (adulteress) only as long as she persists in adultery. If she leaves it and repents, then she is not a zaniyah.

Benefits and Issues:
The complete noble verse is as follows:
(“The adulterer does not marry except an adulteress or a polytheist woman, and the adulteress—none marries her except an adulterer or a polytheist. And that is forbidden to the believers.”) (An-Nur: 3)
An immoral man marries only an immoral woman,
or a polytheist woman.
And an immoral woman is married only by an immoral man,
or a polytheist.
And this has been made forbidden to the believers.
The preferred interpretation in the exegesis of this noble verse is:
It is forbidden for a chaste man to marry an immoral woman, and for a chaste woman to marry an immoral man.
As is also stated in this same Surah An-Nur:
(“Good women are for good men, and good men are for good women.”) (An-Nur: 26)
Pure women are for pure men,
and pure men are for pure women.
And this hadith also affirms the same meaning.
