Hadith 3121

´Narrated Masruq:` "'Aishah recited this Ayah: The Day when the earth will be changed to another earth (14:48). She said: 'O Messenger of Allah! Where will the people be?' He said: 'Upon the Sirat.'"

Benefits and Issues:
➊ The Bridge of Sirat (al-Sirat) is also one of the stages of the Day of Resurrection.

➋ This bridge will be over Hell (Jahannam), and all people will pass over it. Righteous believers will cross it with ease. The more sinful believers and all disbelievers will fall into Hell. After that, sinful believers will come out of Hell through the intercession of the Prophets and righteous people. Those with fewer sins will come out first, and others later. In the end, only the disbelievers will remain in Hell.
