And I heard him reciting from Surah Bara'ah: They took their rabbis and monks as lords besides Allah (9:31). He said: 'As for them, they did not worship them, but when they made something lawful for them, they considered it lawful, and when they made something unlawful for them, they considered it unlawful.'"

Umm al-Mu'mineen Sayyida Umm Salamah (may Allah be pleased with her) narrates that she said: O Messenger of Allah! I have not heard that Allah Almighty has mentioned women in relation to migration, so Allah Almighty revealed this verse: "So their Lord accepted their prayer: 'I do not let the work of any worker among you, whether male or female, go to waste.'" (3-Aal Imran:195)

Benefit: From this hadith, it is understood that in all virtuous deeds, men and women are equal partners, except where a distinction is established by evidence. Furthermore, this hadith proves that whether a woman migrates or a man, both will receive equal reward. Any deed performed in accordance with the Qur’an and hadith will never be wasted.
