Ibn Abi Umar narrated to us, he said: Abdullah bin Wahb narrated to us, and Abdullah from Amr bin Harith, Amr from Darraj, Darraj from Abu Al-Haytham, and Abu Al-Haytham from Abu Sa'id, from the Prophet (peace be upon him), narrated in the same way, except that he said «يتعاهد المسجد» in place of «يعمر مساجد الله», that he used to guard and look after the mosque.
2- This hadith is Hasan Gharib, and Abu Al-Haytham's name is Sulaiman bin Amr bin Abd Al-Atwari. He was an orphan and was raised under the care, that is, guardianship, of Abu Sa'id Al-Khudri.

´Narrated Abu Sa'eed:` that the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said: "If you see a man who comes to the Masjid then bear witness to his faith." Because Allah, the Exalted, says: Only those who believe in Allah, and the Last Day, and establish the Salat, and give the Zakat (should) maintain the Masajid until the end of the Ayah (9:18)
Shaykh Dr. Abdur Rahman Freywai
1؎: The mosques of Allah are maintained only by those who believe in Allah and the Last Day, establish the prayers, give zakat, and fear none except Allah. It is expected that these are the ones who are truly guided. (: Surah At-Tawbah: 18) Note:
(In the chain of narration, Darraj Abu al-Samh is a weak narrator.)
