أَبُو نُعَيْمٍ، حَدَّثَنَا
مَالِكُ بْنُ مِغْوَلٍ، عَنْ
أَبِي السَّفَرِ، عَنْ
الْبَرَاءِ، قَالَ : " آخِرُ آيَةٍ أُنْزِلَتْ أَوْ آخِرُ شَيْءٍ نَزَلَ يَسْتَفْتُونَكَ قُلِ اللَّهُ يُفْتِيكُمْ فِي الْكَلالَةِ سورة النساء آية 176 " ، قَالَ أَبُو عِيسَى : هَذَا حَدِيثٌ حَسَنٌ ، وَأَبُو السَّفَرِ اسْمُهُ سَعِيدُ بْنُ أَحْمَدَ الثَّوْرِيُّ ، وَيُقَالُ ابْنُ يُحْمِدَ .
´Narrated Al-Bara:` "The last Ayah revealed" or, "The last thing revealed was: They ask you about a legal verdict. Say: 'Allah directs (thus) regarding Al-Kalalah (4:176).'"

"They ask you for a legal ruling (fatwa). Say: Allah gives you a legal ruling concerning kalalah (the person who has neither children nor parents). Allah commands that if such a man has one sister, she will receive half of the inheritance; if there are two sisters, they will receive two-thirds of the inheritance together; and if there are brothers and sisters together, then the share of one brother will be equal to that of two sisters."
