Brief Explanation
1؎: In a military expedition, even married women who come into possession as spoils of war (mal-e-ghanīmat) are lawful for their owners; it is only necessary to wait for one menstrual cycle (istibrā’ al-raḥim) for the purpose of ensuring the womb is clear.
2؎: “And (forbidden to you are) married women, except those whom your right hands possess.” (1)
