´Narrated Ibn 'Umar:` "A man stood before the Prophet (ﷺ) and said: 'Who is the (real) Hajj pilgrim, O Messenger of Allah!' He said: 'The one with dishevelled hair who smells bad.' So another man stood and said: 'Which Hajj is most virtuous, O Messenger of Allah?' He said: 'The one with loud voices and blood (of the sacrifice).' Another man stood and said: 'What is 'the means', O Messenger of Allah?' He said: 'Provisions and a mount.'"

Note:
(In the chain of narration, Ibrahim bin Yazid Khuzi is extremely weak, but the phrase "al-‘ajj wa al-thajj" is established from a hadith of Ibn Majah, Sunan Ibn Majah: 2896.)

Benefits and Issues:
The meaning of the hadith is that reciting the talbiyah (labbaik) aloud and offering the sacrifice are among the important acts of Hajj.
Through the talbiyah, the servant expresses his servitude and spirit of obedience to the command, and through the sacrifice, the spirit of sacrificing one's life, wealth, and body in the way of Allah is manifested.

582 Lexical Explanation:
«مَا السَّبِيلَ» What is "sabeel"? That is, the condition of "sabeel" (means) which Allah, the Exalted, has set as a prerequisite for the obligation of Hajj—what is this "sabeel"? The ruling for which comes in Surah Aal-e-Imran that «وَلِلَّهِ عَلَى النَّاسِ حِجُّ الْبَيْتِ مَنِ اسْتَطَاعَ إِلَيْهِ سَبِيلًا» [3-آل عمران:97]
«اَلزَّادُ والرَّاحِلَةُ» By «راحله» is meant conveyance, whether it be an animal, a motor car, a ship, or an airplane. And by «الزاد» is meant wealth in excess of the necessary expenses of one's family from the time of departure until return.
