3؎: ‘Adi ibn Hatim radi Allahu anhu thought of the thieves of the Banu Tayy tribe because he himself belonged to that tribe, and due to this connection, he thought of the thieves of his own tribe. The people of this tribe lived between Iraq and Hijaz, and whoever passed near them, they would attack and rob all his belongings. That is why ‘Adi radi Allahu anhu was astonished as to how, with the presence of the people of his tribe, a woman could travel alone in safety and security.
