´Narrated Ibn 'Abbas:` "A man said 'O Messenger of Allah! Which deed is most virtuous to Allah?' He said: 'Al-Hallul-Murtahil'' He said: 'What is Al-Hallul-Murtahil?' He said: 'The one who recites from the beginning of the Qur'an to the end of it, every time he sets out (on a trip).'"
‘Muhammad bin Bashar narrated to me, he said:’ Muslim bin Ibrahim narrated to me, he said: Salih Mari narrated to me from Qatadah, and Qatadah from Zurara bin Awfi, that the Prophet (peace be upon him) narrated a hadith of similar wording and meaning, but in it there is no mention of narration from Ibn Abbas. © Imam Tirmidhi says: This narration, in my view, is more authentic than the narration of Nadr bin Ali, which he narrates from Haysam bin Rabee’ (i.e., the first chain).

Explanation & Benefits
Shaykh Dr. Abdur Rahman Freywai
Explanation:
The meaning is that the reciter is like a traveler who, upon reaching his destination, begins a new journey afresh.
That is, when one completes the recitation of the Qur’an once, he starts again from the beginning; this action is more beloved to Allah.
Note 1: (In the chain of narration, Salih al-Murri is a weak narrator.)
Note 2: (The chain is weak due to being mursal,
because Zurara is a Tabi‘i,
and he has not mentioned an intermediary in the narration.)
