حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ نَافِعٍ بَصْرِيٌ، حَدَّثَنَا أُمَيَّةُ بْنُ خَالِدٍ، حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو الْجَارِيَةِ الْعَبْدِيُّ، عَنْ شُعْبَةَ، عَنْ أَبِي إِسْحَاق، عَنْ سَعِيدِ بْنِ جُبَيْرٍ، عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ، عَنْ أُبَيِّ بْنِ كَعْبٍ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ أَنَّهُ : " قَرَأَ قَدْ بَلَغْتَ مِنْ لَدُنِّي عُذْرًا سورة الكهف آية 76 مُثَقَّلَةً " ، قَالَ أَبُو عِيسَى : هَذَا حَدِيثٌ غَرِيبٌ ، لَا نَعْرِفُهُ إِلَّا مِنْ هَذَا الْوَجْهِ ، وَأُمَيَّةُ بْنُ خَالِدٍ ثِقَةٌ ، وَأَبُو الْجَارِيَةِ الْعَبْدِيُّ شَيْخٌ مَجْهُولٌ وَلَا نَعْرِفُ اسْمَهُ .
´Narrated Ibn 'Abbas:` from 'Ubayy bin Ka'b, that the Prophet (ﷺ) would recite: "Qad Balaghta Min Ladunni 'Udhra" (18:76) with heaviness (Muthaqqalah - meaning with Tashdid on the Nun in "Ladunni")."

Explanation:
1:
The well-known recitation is in this manner, that is, with a shaddah (gemination) on the letter noon, but Nafi‘ and others have recited it as ﴿مِنْ لَدُنِیْ﴾, that is, with only a simple kasrah (vowel) under the noon. In any case, the meaning is the same,
that is, certainly you have conveyed the excuse from my side.
