حَدَّثَنَا حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو سَعِيدٍ الْأَشَجُّ، حَدَّثَنَا يُونُسُ بْنُ بُكَيْرٍ، عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ إِسْحَاق، عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ الْأَسْوَدِ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ مَسْعُودٍ، قَالَ : " مِنَ السُّنَّةِ أَنْ يُخْفِيَ التَّشَهُّدَ " . قَالَ أَبُو عِيسَى : حَدِيثُ ابْنِ مَسْعُودٍ حَدِيثٌ حَسَنٌ غَرِيبٌ ، وَالْعَمَلُ عَلَيْهِ عِنْدَ أَهْلِ الْعِلْمِ .
´`Abdullah bin Mas`ud said:` "It is from the Sunnah to say the Tashahhud quietly"
Brief Explanation
1؎: When a Companion (Sahabi) says «من السنة كذا أو السنة كذا», then according to the majority (jumhur), it is considered as having the status of marfu‘ (attributed directly to the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam).

When a Companion says, “It is from the Sunnah to do such-and-such,” or, “The Sunnah is such-and-such,” then according to the majority, this is considered to have the ruling of being marfu‘ (attributed directly to the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam).
