´Narrated Ibn 'Abbas:` "One of the companions of the Prophet (ﷺ) pitched a tent on a grave without knowing that it was a grave. Suddenly he heard a person from the grave reciting Surah al-Mulk till he completed it. So he went to the Prophet (ﷺ) and said: 'Oh Messenger of Allah, I pitched my tent on a grave without realizing that is was a grave. Then suddenly I heard a person from the grave reciting Surah al-Mulk till he completed it.' The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said: 'It is the defender, it is the deliverer - it delivers from the punishment of the grave.'"

Note:
(In the chain of narration, Yahya bin Amr is a weak narrator,
but the phrase "(hiya al-mani‘ah)" is authentic based on corroborating evidences,

The status of the narration from al-Darimi (Hadith no. 94) has already been clarified.
Now, consider also the narration from al-Tirmidhi:
SA ◈ This statement is attributed to Sayyiduna Abdullah ibn Abbas radi Allahu anhuma:
“A Companion unknowingly pitched his tent over a grave. In it, a person was reciting Surah al-Mulk. He recited the entire surah. The Companion then came to the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam and said: O Messenger of Allah! I unknowingly pitched my tent over a grave, and in it, a person was reciting Surah al-Mulk; he recited the entire surah. Upon this, the Messenger of Allah sallallahu alayhi wa sallam said: ‘Surah al-Mulk prevents punishment from its reciter and saves him from the punishment of the grave.’” EA
SH Commentary: EH
Its chain of narration is extremely “weak,” because:
➊ Its narrator Yahya ibn Amr ibn Malik al-Nakari is “weak.” Regarding him:
◈ Imam Ibn Hibban rahimahullah says:
«كان منكر الرواية عن أبيه .»
“He used to narrate munkar (denounced) narrations from his father.” [المجروحين : 114/3]
The aforementioned narration is also being narrated by Yahya ibn Amr from his father, so this is a detailed criticism. This narrator has also been declared “weak” by Imam Yahya ibn Ma‘in, Imam Ahmad ibn Hanbal, Imam Abu Zur‘ah al-Razi, Imam al-Nasa’i, Imam al-Daraqutni [كتاب الضعفاء والمتروكين : 850] and others.
The statement attributed to Imam al-Daraqutni rahimahullah about him «صويلح يعتبر به» is not established.
Hafiz Ibn Hajar rahimahullah has also declared him “weak.” [تقريب التهذيب : 7614]
➋ Yahya ibn Amr’s father, Amr ibn Malik al-Nakari (hasan al-hadith), narrates this narration from Abu’l-Jawza’, and his narrations from Abu’l-Jawza’ are “not preserved.” [تهذيب التهذيب لابن حجر : 336/1]
This was the evidence of Kashmiri Sahib, whose outcome you have now seen. How can it be permissible to make an unestablished narration the basis of one’s creed? Counterfeit coins are of no use. The foundation of religion and creed is only established by authentic ahadith.
Conclusion: Hearing the adhan from the Prophet’s grave at the time of the incident of Harrah is not established; no narration regarding this reaches the level of authenticity. Therefore, narrating this story and deriving rulings from it is not an act of goodwill towards the religion of Islam.
