In its chain of narration, there is the narrator Khalid ibn Iyas, regarding whom:
➊ Imam Ahmad states: He is abandoned in hadith (matruk al-hadith).
➋ Imam Ibn Ma'in says: He is utterly worthless; his narrations should not be written at all.
➌ Imam Abu Hatim says: He is weak in hadith (da'if al-hadith), and his narrations are objectionable (munkar al-hadith).

➎ Imam Bukhari declares: He is objectionable in hadith (munkar al-hadith) and utterly worthless.
➏ Imam Nasa'i says: He is abandoned in hadith (matruk al-hadith); on another occasion, he said he is not trustworthy (thiqah) and his narrations should not be written at all.
➐ Imam Ibn 'Adi states: All his narrations are rare and individual reports (ghara'ib and afrad); despite being weak, his narrations should be written.
➑ Imam Tirmidhi, Imam Ibn Shahin, Imam Muhammad ibn 'Ammar, Imam Saji, and Imam Ibn Mathna have declared him weak.
➒ Imam Ibn Hibban says: He transmits fabricated and invented narrations from trustworthy narrators, and the heart inclines to the view that he used to fabricate narrations deliberately.
➓ Imam Hakim states: He transmits fabricated narrations from Sa'id al-Maqburi and others.
⓫ Ibn 'Abd al-Barr says: According to all the noble hadith scholars, he is weak. [تھذیب : ص 81 ج 3]

English Commentary:
1:
Those people who do not accept the practice of jalsat al-istirahah (the sitting of rest) and prefer to stand up without sitting by pressing on the tips of both feet, have used this narration as evidence. However, this hadith is weak and not suitable for use as evidence.

Note:
(In the chain of narration, two narrators—Khalid and Salih Mawla al-Tu’amah—are weak.)
