حَدَّثَنَا
عَلِيُّ بْنُ حُجْرٍ، أَخْبَرَنَا
شَرِيكٌ، عَنِ
الْمِقْدَامِ بْنِ شُرَيْحٍ، عَنْ
أَبِيهِ، عَنْ
عَائِشَةَ، قَالَ : قِيلَ لَهَا : هَلْ كَانَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَتَمَثَّلُ بِشَيْءٍ مِنَ الشِّعْرِ ؟ قَالَتْ : " كَانَ يَتَمَثَّلُ بِشِعْرِ ابْنِ رَوَاحَةَ وَيَتَمَثَّلُ وَيَقُولُ : وَيَأْتِيكَ بِالْأَخْبَارِ مَنْ لَمْ تُزَوِّدِوَفِي الْبَابِ ، عَنْ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ ، قَالَ أَبُو عِيسَى : هَذَا حَدِيثٌ حَسَنٌ صَحِيحٌ .
´Narrated Al-Miqdam bin Shuraih:` from his father, that 'Aishah was asked: "Did the Prophet (ﷺ) used to say any poetry?" She said: "He would say parables with the poetry of Ibn Rawahah, saying: 'News shall come to you from where you did not expect it.'"

"Satu bdi laka al-ayyamu ma kunta jahilan wa ya'tika bil-akhbari man lam tuzawwid."
(Time will reveal to you those things of which you were unaware and ignorant, and a person whom you did not even send with provisions for this task will bring you news and information.)
