´Narrated 'Abdullah bin Mas'ud:` that the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said: "Indeed Islam began as something strange and it will return to being strange as it began. So Tuba is for the strangers."

1؎: The meaning is that when Islam came, the lives of its followers were spent in such a state of estrangement that people despised them, considered associating with them to be beneath themselves, and caused them harm. In exactly such a state of estrangement will the followers of Islam be in its final era. However, glad tidings and congratulations are for those who embraced Islam in this state of estrangement, and for those who will embrace it in its final era, and who, bearing the harm of enemies, will continue to serve and propagate it with their lives and wealth.
