حَدَّثَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ مَنِيعٍ الْبَغْدَادِيُّ، حَدَّثَنَا إِسْمَاعِيل ابْنُ عُلَيَّةَ، حَدَّثَنَا خَالِدٌ الْحَذَّاءُ، عَنْ أَبِي قِلَابَةَ، عَنْ عَائِشَةَ، قَالَتْ : قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : " إِنَّ مِنْ أَكْمَلِ الْمُؤْمِنِينَ إِيمَانًا أَحْسَنُهُمْ خُلُقًا وَأَلْطَفُهُمْ بِأَهْلِهِ " , وفي الباب عن أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ ، وَأَنَسِ بْنِ مَالِكٍ , قَالَ أَبُو عِيسَى : هَذَا حَدِيثٌ صَحِيحٌ وَلَا نَعْرِفُ لِأَبِي قِلَابَةَ سَمَاعًا مِنْ عَائِشَةَ ، وَقَدْ رَوَى أَبُو قِلَابَةَ ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ يَزِيدَ رَضِيعٍ لِعَائِشَةَ ، عَنْ عَائِشَةَ غَيْرَ هَذَا الْحَدِيثِ ، وَأَبُو قِلَابَةَ اسْمُهُ : عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ زَيْدٍ الْجَرْمِيُّ ، حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ أَبِي عُمَرَ ، حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ بْنُ عُيَيْنَةَ ، قَالَ : ذَكَرَ أَيُّوبُ السَّخْتِيَانِيُّ أَبَا قِلَابَةَ فَقَالَ : كَانَ وَاللَّهِ مِنَ الْفُقَهَاءِ ذَوِي الْأَلْبَابِ .
´Narrated 'Aishah:` that the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said: "Indeed among the believers with the most complete faith is the one who is the best in conduct, and the most kind to his family."

Explanation:
1:
From this hadith, it is understood that faith (iman) and good character (husn al-akhlaq) are inseparable from each other,
that is, the more perfect a person is in his character, the more perfect his faith will be as well.
It is as if possessing good character is necessary for complete faith.
It is also understood that the one who is the most kind to his family members is the best among people.
And it is also understood that, in comparison to one another, some people possess less and some possess more faith.
Note:
(This narration, with the addition from the narration of Aisha radi Allahu anha and the wording (wa altafuhum bi ahlihi), is weak,
because there is a break (inqita‘) in the chain of transmission between Abu Qilabah and Aisha,
however, there are authentic supporting narrations for the first part,
for details see: al-Sahihah no. 284)
