´Abu Maisarah narrated from 'Aishah that they had slaughtered a sheep, so the Prophet (s.a.w) said:` "What remains of it?" She said: "Nothing remains of it except its shoulder." He said: "All of it remains except its shoulder."

Explanation:
1:
The meaning is that the portion of the slaughtered goat which has been distributed among the poor and needy—this very wealth that has been given in charity is, in reality, what remains. As for the portion that is with you, that does not remain. By this, the Prophet (sallallahu alayhi wa sallam) indicated towards the statement of the Lord of the worlds:
What is with you will perish, and what is with Allah will remain.” ()
That which is with you is bound to come to an end, and whatever is with the Lord of the worlds is everlasting.
