´Ibn Ka'b bin Malik Al-Ansari narrated from his father, that the Messenger of Allah (s.a.w) said:` "Two wolves free among sheep are no more destructive to them than a man's desire for wealth and honor is to his religion."

1؎ : From this hadith it is understood that whoever becomes afflicted with the love and greed for wealth and status cannot save himself from destruction. Unfortunately, today the Ummah is confronted with this very trial, and its devastation has reached such a level that among the causes of the discord and severe differences faced by this Ummah and its religious groups, the love of wealth and status is foremost.
