´Anas bin Malik narrated that the Allah's Messenger (s.a.w) said:` "The hour shall not be established until time is constricted, and the year is like a month, a month is like the week, and the week is like the day, and the day is like the hour, and the hour is like the flare of the fire."
Explanation & Benefits
Shaykh Dr. Abdur Rahman Freywai
Explanation:
1:
"The time will become close"—its meaning is either that its blessings will decrease and, instead of benefit, harms will become more prevalent; or it is an indication that people will become so engrossed and absorbed in worldly occupations that they will not even feel the passing of day and night.
(The hadith related to the second part will appear in the next chapter.)
