1؎: In the hadith, the word "di'ah" has appeared; by this is meant such properties that are immovable, for example, orchards, fields, and villages, etc. Some people say: by this is meant all those things upon which a person's economic life depends. If these things cause a person to become heedless of the remembrance of Allah, and the person forgets the Hereafter and his heart becomes completely inclined toward the world, then he should distance himself from them and adopt the fear of Allah.

Benefit: Farming is permissible, but if it leads to neglect of religion, then it is not correct. Farming is a very laborious task and requires a great deal of time; therefore, our farmer brothers should pay great attention to their religious obligations.
