´'Umar bin Al-Khattab narrated that the Prophet(s.a.w) said:` "Shall I not inform you of the best of your leaders and the worst of them: The best of them are those whom you love and they love you, you supplicate for them, and they supplicate for you. And the evilest of your leaders are those who hate you, and you hate them, and they curse you and you curse them."
Explanation & Benefits
Shaykh Dr. Abdur Rahman Freywai
Explanation:
1:
That is, there will be some rulers who will act with justice and fairness;
love will be established between them and you, they will be well-wishers for you and you will be well-wishers for them.
And there will be some rulers who will be unparalleled in oppression and excess;
in them, the aspect of evil will be more dominant,
therefore, you will harbor enmity towards them and they will harbor enmity towards you.
