Benefit:
The descent of Sayyiduna Isa (alayhis salam) is a truth; he will kill the Dajjal.
Ludd (English: Lod) is a council city in Israel, located in the center (disambiguation). The total population of Ludd is about 70,000 people.
History: From a historical perspective, "Ludd" is an ancient city. Here, pottery dating back to 5250 BCE has been found, which indicates that there was a population here even in ancient times. However, its first mention in history is found in Egyptian records from 1500 BCE. Over the course of history, this city was occupied by many nations, and the conquerors gave it various names. In different eras, it remained a center of activity for Jews, Christians, and Muslims. In 636 CE, when Sayyiduna Khalid bin Walid (radi Allahu anhu) conquered Palestine, this city was also captured and named al-Ludd. Later, during the Crusades, this city was taken from the Muslims. This city was also part of British rule, during which its name was changed to Lydda. However, when in 1948 the Israelis defeated the Arabs and captured this city, its name was once again changed and its old Jewish name, Ludd, was restored.
Present City: In the present era, Ludd is a city located 15 kilometers from Israel’s capital, Tel Aviv. At the end of 2007, the estimated population here was about 67,000 people, of whom 80% belonged to the Jewish religion. The remaining population consisted of Arabs, the majority of whom were Muslims, while some were Christians as well.
Airport: The current significance of the city of Ludd is due to the international airport located here. This airport was built during British rule for military flights. However, after coming under the use of the Israeli government in 1948, it has been used for commercial, private, and military flights. The airport can be reached by train, bus, or car by any means. This airport has four terminals, three of which are in use, while the fourth terminal, despite being completed in 1999, has not yet been opened. In view of the Israel-Palestine conflict, extensive security arrangements have been made here, and it is counted among the safest airports in the world. (Wikipedia)
