'Woe to the Arabs from the evil drawn near. Today a gap has been made in the wall of Ya'juj and Ma'juj like this.' And he formed ten(with his fingers)." Zainab said: "I said: 'O Messenger of Allah! Shall we be destroyed while they are righteous among us?' He said: 'Yes, when the evil abounds."'

That is, he indicated the size of the hole by means of his thumb and index finger.

Benefits and Issues:
(1)
Yajuj and Majuj are a corrupting people, for the protection from whom Dhu al-Qarnayn (alayhis salam) constructed a great wall. This is mentioned in Surah al-Kahf, verses (93–99) .

(2)
When that wall collapses, these people will attack other nations and commit plunder. This will be a very great tribulation.

(3)
When righteous people become few and the dishonest and immoral people increase, then Allah’s punishment descends in various forms, such as: earthquakes, floods, storms, and wars, etc.

(4)
To avoid this situation, enjoining good (amr bil-ma‘ruf) and forbidding evil (nahi ‘an al-munkar) is very necessary.

(5)
The indication of “ten” is made by placing the tip of the thumb on the tip of the index finger. The meaning was that the circle formed by placing the thumb on this finger—such a hole has appeared in the wall of Alexander (Sadd-i-Sikandari).

(6)
Once a hole appears, then the danger is that this hole will become larger, and eventually that wall will break, and Yajuj and Majuj will be set free in the world to commit killing and destruction.
