1؎: The splitting of the moon into two parts occurred during the time of the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam. The manifestation of this miracle took place at the request of the people of Makkah. It is mentioned in the Sahihayn that the moon split into two parts, to the extent that people saw the Mount Hira between them—one part of the moon was above the mountain and the other below it. This is among the clear miracles of the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam.
