´Jabir narrated that the Prophet(S.A.W) said:` "The people of two religions do not inherit from each other."

Hadith Takhrij «
Brief Explanation
1؎: By "two different religions and faiths," some people have taken it to mean disbelief (kufr) and Islam, while others have kept it general. In such a case, a Christian will not inherit from a Jew, nor a Jew from a Christian. The first opinion is more correct, because all the communities of disbelief (kufr) are considered as one community «ملة واحدة».

Explanation:
1:
By "two different religions and faiths," some people have taken it to mean disbelief (kufr) and Islam,
while others have kept it general.
In such a case, a Christian will not inherit from a Jew, nor a Jew from a Christian.
The first opinion is more correct, because all the religions of disbelief are considered "one religion" (millatun wahidah).

Note:
(In the chain of narration, Muhammad ibn Abi Layla is a weak narrator,
but due to supporting evidences, this hadith is considered sahih li ghayrihi [authentic due to corroborating chains].)
