`Abu Usamah narrated` this hadith with the chain of «عن عوف عن رجل عن سليمان بن جابر عن ابن مسعود عن النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم». And he narrated a hadith of the same meaning. Ahmad bin Hanbal and others have declared Muhammad bin Qasim Asadi to be weak.
´Abu Hurairah narrated that the Messenger of Allah(S.A.W) said:` "Learn the laws of inheritance and the Quran, and teach the people, for I am a mortal."

Urdu Footnote: Note 1: (In the chain of narration, both Shahr ibn Hawshab and Muhammad ibn Qasim Asadi are weak narrators. Some people have even accused Asadi of fabricating hadith. Al-Irwa: 1664, 1665)
Note 2: (There is confusion (idtirab) in the chain of narration, to which the author has alluded, and its details are found in al-Nasa'i. According to Hafiz Ibn Hajar, the reason for the discrepancy in the chain is 'Awf. Al-Nukat al-Ziraf, Al-Irwa: 1664)

Abu Huraira reported God’s messenger as saying, "Learn the things which are made obligatory and the Qur’an, and teach them to people, for I shall die.” Tirmidhi transmitted it.
Hafiz Zubair Ali Zai
Hadith Authentication: This is a weak narration. The chain in Sunan al-Tirmidhi is extremely weak, even fabricated:
➊ Abu Ibrahim Muhammad ibn al-Qasim al-Asadi al-Kufi al-Shami, known as Kao, regarding whom Hafiz Ibn Hajar said: «كذبوه» "The hadith scholars have declared him a liar." [تقريب التهذيب : 6229] ◄ Imam Ahmad ibn Hanbal said: «يكذب، أحاديثه أحاديث موضوعة، ليس بشئ» "He used to lie, his hadiths are fabricated, he is nothing." [كتاب العلل ومعرفة الرجال 1؍300 فقره 1813، دوسرا نسخه 2؍171 فقره 1899]
➋ Fadl ibn Dilhama al-Qassab al-Basri al-Wasiti «لين ورمي بالاعتزال» was, meaning he was weak, and the hadith scholars have declared him a Mu'tazili. See: [تقريب التهذيب 5402]
◄ In its other chain, both Sulayman ibn Jabir and his student (a man) are unknown. See: [تقريب التهذيب : 2541], [سنن ابن ماجه 2719], etc. There are also weak supporting narrations for this report, but even with them, this narration remains weak.
