´"Abu Hurairah narrated that people among the Companions of the Prophet (S.A.W) would say:` "Truffles are the earth's smallpox." So the Messenger of Allah (S.A.W) said: "Truffles are a form of manna, and its liquid is a cure for the eye. Al-'Ajwah is from Paradise, and it contains a cure for poison."

Note:
(In the chain of narration, Shahr ibn Hawshab is a weak narrator, but by being strengthened by the preceding hadith, this hadith is also authentic.)

Explanation:
1:
Here, the translation of the word (al-kama’ah) mentioned in the hadith as “mushroom” is absolutely incorrect. In the colloquial language of the Arabs, “al-kama’ah” is called “faq’ah.” This faq’ah spreads underground in the vast deserts of Najd and Nafud al-Kubra, in the north of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the south of Iraq, after the winter rains. Its color and shape resemble that of a potato. In contrast, mushrooms grow above the ground and are found in the sandy regions of India. According to the definitions written by Ibn al-Qayyim, Ibn Hajar, and other scholars of the Ummah, (al-kama’ah) is in fact faq’ah, not mushroom. (For details, refer to Fath al-Bari and Tuhfat al-Ahwadhi. Also, see the detailed discussion in the footnote to hadith number (3455) of Ibn Majah. And wherever kama’ah has been translated as mushroom, replace it with “faq’ah.”

Benefits and Issues:
The meaning of "being from Paradise" is that it is blessed.
Or, this type of date palm came down to earth from Paradise.
Just as the Black Stone (Hajar al-Aswad) was sent down to earth from Paradise.
And Allah knows best.
