´Qatadah bin An-Nu'man narrated that the Messenger of Allah (s.a.w) said:` "When Allah loves a slave, He prevents him from the world, just as one of you prevents his sick from water." Another chain reports a similar narration.
‘With this chain,’ a similar hadith is narrated from Mahmood bin Labeed, in which there is no mention of Qatadah bin Nu’man (may Allah be pleased with him). © Imam Tirmidhi says:
1- Qatadah bin Nu’man al-Zafari is the maternal brother (from the same mother) of Abu Sa’eed al-Khudri,
2- Mahmood bin Labeed lived during the time of the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) and saw him in his childhood.

Explanation:
1:
When a servant becomes beloved to Allah, then the thing most harmful to him is his worldly life.
Therefore, Allah the Exalted protects and safeguards His beloved servant from the world in the same way that one of you protects his sick patient from food and drink,
because, due to the illness he is afflicted with, food and drink are extremely harmful and detrimental for him.
