Hadith 1895
حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ أَبِي عُمَرَ، حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ بْنُ عُيَيْنَةَ، عَنْ مَعْمَرٍ، عَنْ الزُّهْرِيِّ، عَنْ عُرْوَةَ، عَنْ عَائِشَةَ، قَالَتْ : " كَانَ أَحَبُّ الشَّرَابِ إِلَى رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ الْحُلْوَ الْبَارِدَ " ، قَالَ أَبُو عِيسَى : هَكَذَا رَوَى غَيْرُ وَاحِدٍ ، عَنْ ابْنِ عُيَيْنَةَ مِثْلَ هَذَا ، عَنْ مَعْمَرٍ ، عَنْ الزُّهْرِيِّ ، عَنْ عُرْوَةَ ، عَنْ عَائِشَةَ ، وَالصَّحِيحُ مَا رُوِيَ عَنْ الزُّهْرِيِّ ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ مُرْسَلًا .
‘Umm al-Mu’minin Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) says that’ the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) liked sweet and cold drinks the most. © Imam Tirmidhi says:
Several people have narrated from Ibn Uyaynah in the same way «عن معمر عن الزهري عن عروة عن عائشة», but the correct version is the one narrated mursal from the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) through Zuhri (which is coming ahead).
