‘It is narrated from Shareek bin Hanbal that Ali (may Allah be pleased with him) considered eating garlic to be disliked, except if it was cooked.’ © Imam Tirmidhi says:
1- The chain of this hadith is not very strong; this is the statement of Ali (may Allah be pleased with him),
2- Through the chain of Shareek bin Hanbal, this hadith has also come from the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) in a mursal manner,
3- Muhammad bin Ismail Bukhari says: The narrator Jarrah bin Maleeh is truthful, and Jarrah bin Duhak is maqaarib al-hadith.
