Hadith 1786
حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ أَبِي عُمَرَ، حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ، عَنْ عَاصِمِ بْنِ كُلَيْبٍ، عَنْ ابْنِ أَبِي مُوسَى، قَال: سَمِعْتُ عَلِيًّا يَقُولُ: نَهَانِي رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ عَنْ الْقَسِّيِّ وَالْمِيثَرَةِ الْحَمْرَائِ وَأَنْ أَلْبَسَ خَاتَمِي فِي هَذِهِ وَفِي هَذِهِ وَأَشَارَ إِلَى السَّبَّابَةِ وَالْوُسْطَى.
‘Ali (may Allah be pleased with him) says that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) forbade me from «قسي» (a silk garment), a red (colored silk) saddle cloth, and from wearing a ring on this finger and this finger, and he pointed towards the index and middle fingers. © Imam Tirmidhi says: This hadith is hasan sahih.
