Hadith 1689
حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عُمَرَ بْنِ عَلِيٍّ الْمُقَدَّمِيُّ الْبَصْرِيُّ، حَدَّثَنِي أَبِي، عَنْ سُفْيَانَ بْنِ حُسَيْنٍ، عَنْ عُبَيْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عُمَرَ، عَنْ نَافِعٍ، عَنْ ابْنِ عُمَرَ، قَالَ : " لَقَدْ رَأَيْتُنَا يَوْمَ حُنَيْنٍ وَإِنَّ الْفِئَتَيْنِ لَمُوَلِّيَتَانِ ، وَمَا مَعَ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ مِائَةُ رَجُلٍ " ، قَالَ أَبُو عِيسَى : هَذَا حَدِيثٌ حَسَنٌ غَرِيبٌ ، لَا نَعْرِفُهُ مِنْ حَدِيثِ عُبَيْدِ اللَّهِ إِلَّا مِنْ هَذَا الْوَجْهِ .
'Abdullah bin Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) says: On the day of the Battle of Hunayn, our condition was such that both groups of Muslims had turned their backs, and there were not even a hundred men with the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him). © Imam Tirmidhi says:
