´It was narrated from Miqdam bin Ma’dikarib that the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said:` “The martyr has six things (in store) with Allah: He is forgiven from the first drop of his blood that is shed; he is shown his place in Paradise; he is spared the torment of the grave; he is kept safe from the Great Fright; he is adorned with a garment of faith; he is married to (wives) from among the wide-eyed houris; and he is permitted to intercede for seventy of his relatives.”

Benefits and Issues:
➊ These rewards are for that martyr who is martyred while fighting in jihad with sincerity of heart solely for the pleasure of Allah.
➋ Being shown a house in Paradise is glad tidings for him, that even during the moment of the soul’s departure, before entering Paradise, he is given the good news of Paradise.
➌ The punishment of the grave for sinners is established by many ahadith. The martyr is protected from it.
➍ On the Day of Resurrection, sinners will be distressed according to their respective sins. The martyr’s sins will have been forgiven, so he will be safe from distress.
➎ Two garments of the same kind are called a hulah (set). The hulah of faith refers to such a garment that will be a sign of his faith.
➏ The houris are those women of Paradise whom Allah Ta’ala has created in Paradise by His perfect power for His righteous servants. Every martyr will receive at least two houris.
➐ On the Day of Resurrection, intercession will only be possible after permission is granted by Allah Ta’ala; this will be a means of forgiveness for sinners, and a great honor for the one interceding.
➑ The higher the rank of a believer, the more people he will be permitted to intercede for. And Allah knows best.
