The aforementioned narration has been declared weak in its chain of transmission by the verifier of the book. However, in the verification of Sunan Ibn Majah, after declaring this very narration weak in its chain, it is written that the narration number 4271 of Sunan Ibn Majah itself suffices for it, from which it is understood that the aforementioned narration is also considered authoritative by the verifier of the book. In addition, other scholars have also declared it authentic. Therefore, despite the aforementioned narration being weak in its chain, it is authoritative due to other supporting evidences and corroborations. And Allah knows best. For further details, see: (Al-Mawsu‘ah al-Hadithiyyah, Musnad al-Imam Ahmad: 25/55-59, and al-Sahihah of al-Albani, no. 995, and Dhakheerat al-‘Uqba Sharh Sunan al-Nasa’i: 20/123-143). By “body” (jism) is meant the barzakh body, upon which the states of barzakh life will pass, the true reality of which is known only to Allah; however, there, it will experience the pleasures and pains of Paradise and Hell.

Benefits and Issues:
➊
Our esteemed researcher has declared the mentioned narration weak in terms of its chain of transmission.
Whereas other scholars have declared it authentic.
The scholars have engaged in lengthy discussion regarding this hadith.
From which it is understood
that the opinion favoring authenticity is closer to being correct.
In addition, our esteemed researcher, regarding a narration in Sunan Ibn Majah which conveys this meaning,
has written in his research that the forthcoming narration (4271)
is sufficient in its place, whereas he himself has already declared the mentioned narration weak.
From this, it appears that there has been an oversight by the Shaykh here.
Therefore, despite the mentioned narration being weak in its chain, it is acceptable as evidence due to other supporting narrations and corroborations.
And Allah knows best.
For further details, see: (Al-Mawsu‘ah al-Hadithiyyah, Musnad al-Imam Ahmad: 25/55, 59; al-Sahihah by al-Albani, no. 995; Sunan Ibn Majah, edited by Dr. Bashar ‘Awwad, no. 4271)
➋
In the previous hadith, it was mentioned that the deceased receives the breeze of Paradise or Hellfire in the grave itself.
Whereas in this hadith, it is stated that he eats the fruits of Paradise in the form of a bird.
It is possible that this depends on the ranks of individuals, that some believers receive the blessings of Paradise in the grave, and some are made to reach Paradise itself, as these very words have been reported regarding the martyrs.
And Allah knows best.
