باب مَا جَاءَ فِي فَضْلِ النَّفَقَةِ فِي سَبِيلِ اللَّهِChapter: ….
Hadith 1625
حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو كُرَيْبٍ، حَدَّثَنَا الْحُسَيْنُ بْنُ عَلِيٍّ الْجُعْفِيُّ، عَنْ زَائِدَةَ، عَنْ الرُّكَيْنِ بْنِ الرَّبِيعِ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، عَنْ يُسَيْرِ بْنِ عَمِيلَةَ، عَنْ خُرَيْمِ بْنِ فَاتِكٍ، قَالَ : قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : " مَنْ أَنْفَقَ نَفَقَةً فِي سَبِيلِ اللَّهِ ، كُتِبَتْ لَهُ بِسَبْعِ مِائَةِ ضِعْفٍ " ، قَالَ أَبُو عِيسَى : وَفِي الْبَاب ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ ، وَهَذَا حَدِيثٌ حَسَنٌ ، إِنَّمَا نَعْرِفُهُ مِنْ حَدِيثِ الرُّكَيْنِ بْنِ الرَّبِيعِ .
Narrated from Khuraim bin Fatik (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Whoever spends anything in the way of Allah (jihad), seven hundred times (reward) is written for him." © Imam Tirmidhi says:
1- This hadith is Hasan. We know this hadith only from the narration of Rakeen bin Rabee'.
2- In this chapter, there is also a narration from Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him).

English translation:
The reward for a good deed being tenfold is an obligatory matter. Anything beyond this depends on the sincerity of the individual concerned. There are also some sincere people who receive a sevenfold reward. And that is not difficult for Allah.
