Benefits and Issues:

The three sins mentioned in the hadith are very grave sins.

If someone commits major sins (kabirah), and Allah does not forgive them at the outset, he will not be able to enter Paradise until he has suffered the punishment for his sins in Hell. This punishment can last for hundreds of years, whereas even a second of punishment in Hell is unbearable.

The Noble Prophet (sallallahu alayhi wa sallam) defined arrogance (kibr) in these words:
(al-kibru bataru al-haqqi wa ghamtu al-nas)
(Sahih Muslim, Al-Iman, Chapter: The Prohibition of Arrogance and Its Explanation, Hadith: 91)
“Arrogance is rejecting the truth and looking down upon people.”

War booty (mal-e-ghanīmah) is the collective right of the Muslims.
When it is distributed and each fighter is given his share, it becomes his lawful property.
Taking even a small thing before the distribution is forbidden, and likewise, making unlawful use of communal property or causing it harm is also a major sin, such as spending the wealth of the public treasury (bayt al-mal) on one’s personal needs.
The funds of a mosque, madrasa, or any religious or worldly organization should be spent only on the purposes for which they were collected; if any official spends them on anything else, it is a betrayal (khiyanah).

Deliberately not repaying a debt is also an equally grave sin; therefore, it is obligatory to avoid this as well.
