Hadith Takhrij«
Brief Explanation
1؎ : The scholars say that the reason for the distinction between the father and the son is that the love in the father's heart for his children is without any desire for worldly benefit; this is why the father's heartfelt wish is that his children remain alive and happy. Whereas the love found in the heart of the children for the father is related to «الاما شاء اللہ» only for worldly benefit. (Although this hadith is weak in its chain of narration, the issue is established through other routes.)

Explanation: 1: The scholars say that the reason for the distinction between the father and the son is that the love in the father’s heart for his children is without any desire for worldly benefit. This is why it is the heartfelt wish of the father that his children remain alive and happy, whereas the love found in the heart of the children (except whom Allah wills) is only connected to worldly benefit. (Even though this hadith is weak in its chain of narration, the issue is established through other routes.)
Note: (In the chain, “al-Muthanna ibn Sabah” is weak; in his later years, he became confused (mukhtalit); furthermore, there is much irregularity (idtirab) in the hadith.)
