´Anas bin Malik narrated that Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said:` "If trotter (lacking meat) were given to me I would accept it, and if I was invited to (a meal of) it I would accept."

1؎ : In this hadith, there is encouragement to accept the invitation of a poor person and even a modest gift; it should not be rejected by considering it insignificant or inferior. From this, the humility and simplicity of the Prophet (sallallahu alayhi wa sallam) is also evident—how simple and humble he was. He did not like any formality or special arrangement for himself.
