Hadith 1055

´Abdullah bin Abi Mulaikah said:` "Abdur-Rahman bin Abi Bakr died in Al-Hubshi" He said: "He was carried to Makkah to be buried there. So when Aishah arrived she went to the grave of Abdur-Rahman bin Abi Bakr and she said: "We were like two drinking companions of Jadhimah for such a long time that they would say: 'They will never part.' So when we were separated it was as if I and Malik - due to the length of unity - never spent a night together."

Hadith Takhrij «
Explanation & Benefits
Hafiz Abu Abdullah Sarim
Benefits and Issues:
The chain of narration of this report is "weak" due to the "tadlis" (concealment in transmission) of Ibn Jurayj rahimahullah.
Although there is explicit mention of hearing (sama‘) in Musannaf ‘Abd al-Razzaq (3/517) and al-Awsat by Ibn al-Mundhir (5/464), in this chain there is the "tadlis" of Imam ‘Abd al-Razzaq rahimahullah.

Commentary:
Note:
(Abdul-Malik bin Abdul-Aziz Ibn Jurayj is a trustworthy (thiqah) narrator, but he used to practice tadlis (concealing the directness of transmission) and irsal (omitting the intermediary), and here the narration is with 'an'anah (using the term "from" instead of explicitly stating direct hearing), therefore this chain of narration is weak.)
