Hadith 3956
حَدَّثَنَا سَعِيدٌ قَالَ: نا ابْنُ عَيَّاشٍ، عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ زِيَادِ بْنِ أَنْعُمٍ، قَالَ: كَتَبَ إِلَيْنَا عُمَرُ: «أَنَّ كُلَّ عَبْدٍ قَاتَلَ لَيْسَ مَعَهُ مَوْلَاهُ فَاضْرِبْ لَهُ سَهْمَهُ سَهْمَ الْحُرِّ، فَضُرِبَ لِغُلَامٍ لَنَا كَمَا ضُرِبَ لِلْحُرِّ»
Sayyiduna Umar (may Allah be pleased with him) wrote to us: "Any slave who fights without his master, assign him a share equal to that of a free man, thus a share equal to a free man was assigned even for one of our slaves."
Hadith 3957
حَدَّثَنَا سَعِيدٌ قَالَ: نا سُفْيَانُ، عَنْ عَمْرِو بْنِ دِينَارٍ، سَمِعَ الْحَسَنَ، يُحَدِّثُ عَنْ مَخْلَدٍ الْغِفَارِيِّ، «أَنَّ مَمْلُوكِينَ ثَلَاثَةً لِبَنِي غِفَارٍ شَهِدُوا بَدْرًا، فَكَانَ عُمَرُ يُعْطِي كُلَّ رَجُلٍ مِنْهُمْ فِي كُلِّ سَنَةٍ ثَلَاثَةَ آلَافٍ»
It is narrated from Mukhlid Ghafari (may Allah be pleased with him): Three slaves from Banu Ghifar participated in Badr, so Sayyiduna Umar (may Allah be pleased with him) used to give each of them three thousand dirhams every year.
Hadith 3958
حَدَّثَنَا سَعِيدٌ قَالَ: نا هُشَيْمٌ، قَالَ: أنا مُغِيرَةُ، عَنْ إِبْرَاهِيمَ، فِي الْعَبْدِ، وَالْأَجِيرِ، وَالتَّاجِرِ يَشْهَدُونَ الْمَغْنَمَ، فَقَالَ: «يُسْهَمُ، وَسَهْمُ الْعَبْدِ لِمَوْلَاهُ»
Ibrahim (may Allah have mercy on him) said: "When a slave, a laborer, and a trader participate in the spoils of war, their share will be fixed, and the share of the slave will belong to his master."
