Hadith 3622
حَدَّثَنَا سَعِيدٌ قَالَ: نا إِسْمَاعِيلُ بْنُ عَيَّاشٍ، عَنْ هِشَامِ بْنِ الْغَازِ، عَنْ مَكْحُولٍ، قَالَ: «لَا يُبَاعُ شَيْءٌ مِنْ حَبْسِ الدَّوَابِّ، وَلَا تُبَدِّلُوهَا»
Hazrat Mak'hool (may Allah have mercy on him) says: "It is not permissible to sell an endowed animal, nor should it be exchanged."
Hadith 3623
حَدَّثَنَا سَعِيدٌ قَالَ: نا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ وَهْبٍ، قَالَ: أَخْبَرَنِي عَمْرٌو، أَنَّ بُكَيْرًا، حَدَّثَهُ عَنْ نَافِعٍ، عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ، قَالَ: كَانَتْ عِنْدَهُ دَرَقَةٌ، فَقَالَ: " لَوْلَا أَنَّ عُمَرَ قَالَ لِي: احْبِسْ سِلَاحَكَ لَأَعْطَيْتُهَا بَعْضَ بَنِيِّ "
Sayyiduna Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) said: "I had a shield. If Umar (may Allah be pleased with him) had not told me to withhold the weapon, I would have given it to one of my relatives."
Hadith 3624
حَدَّثَنَا سَعِيدٌ قَالَ: نا إِسْمَاعِيلُ بْنُ عَيَّاشٍ، عَنْ صَفْوَانَ بْنِ عَمْرٍو «أَنَّ الْخَيْلَ الَّتِي حَمَلَ عَلَيْهَا عُمَرُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الْعَزِيزِ فِي سَبِيلِ اللَّهِ خَرَجَتْ مِنْ عِنْدِهِ وَقَدْ وُسِمَتْ فِي أَفْخَاذِهَا عُدَّةً لِلَّهِ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ»
Hazrat Safwan bin Amr (may Allah have mercy on him) narrates: The horses on which Umar bin Abdul Aziz (may Allah have mercy on him) fought in the path of Allah had a mark for Allah on them.
